Helping at church
Hello,
Leroy and I went, as usual, to help unload the items. We also help put some of that away. There were boxes of cookie dough in boxes ready to be baked. Leory put about 1000 of those on trays while someone else baked them. Later they were packed for the Saturday evening meal at church.
While he was doing arranging dough, I washed and pruned lettuce that was getting closer to the edge. The parts that were torn off were taken by someone else to put out for the animals in the wooded area. I also scrubbed, trimmed and set aside large daikon radishes. The largest one weighed 5 pounds 7 ounces. We like daikon radishes, but have never seen any this large.
We were both tired by the time we got done with these chores. We did bring home three poinsettias that have been left at church. No begging, but close to it to have us remove them. They are beautiful. I might have to relegate Leroy to the hall to create some room for them. He knows he takes second fiddle to my plants.
