Epiphany is Here
We took the tree down this morning. That was not such a long job, but it still takes some time to get the items off and put in the proper place. As close as we remember the proper place. Memory fades on some things. Perhaps they are as not as important as we once thought.
Tonight, Leroy noticed that we had not put away the Christmas throw. I would be happy to get rid of it, but asked the kids about it. Miriam said she might like it. It is packed away now.
I was irritated with Leroy when I learned that he did not get out everything. He thought it was just too much. I had wondered where some of the things were. Earlier, I had gotten rid of some things and thought that it must have included those unrevealed items.
I did bring home a poinsettia from the Ely library because they were considering getting rid of it. I will keep it going for a while longer. When it is too tired, it will go in the compost. I like saving these plants from sure a quick demise. There are still a lot at church so I might get some more
Is it being cheap? I think about buying one every year, but then think about how many get thrown out so soon. I enjoy having them here for a month or more.
