Some of the Best things

Hello, Some of the best things are small things. We have a white desk lamp that was quite dirty. I tried to clean it some time ago, but just managed to move dirt around. Leroy tackled it. It is now clean. Every time I turn it on, I am pleased. We chopped some ice off the alley. It is great to drive into the garage without slipping. So nice. Our children are far away, but technology keeps us connected to them. We lived far from our parents for many years, but calling was so expensive that we only did it once a week or less. However, I wrote weekly letters as well as getting letters from home. Leroy accidently bought garlic pretzels. He likes them. Pretzels are his favorite snack. Even thought we feel like we have scaled a mountain we sometimes can figure out technology on our own. There is a certain smug feeling that goes with that. Paula
